From Idea to Table

Your Table, Step by Step

Ordering something custom sounds complicated. It really isn't. Here's the entire journey from "I have an idea" to "that table looks incredible in my living room" — broken down so you know exactly what to expect at every stage.

How Your Table Gets Made

1
The First Conversation

You Reach Out

It starts with a message. Call us, WhatsApp us, email us, or fill out the form on the website. You don't need a detailed blueprint. Even "I want a resin table for my living room" is a perfectly good place to start.

At this point, we're just listening. What's the table for? Where will it go? Do you have a colour in mind? A theme? A size? Have you seen something online that caught your eye? The more you share, the better — but even if all you have is a vague feeling, that's enough. We'll guide the conversation from there.

Takes: 5–10 minutes

Getting the Details Right

We Discuss & Design

This is where we dig into the specifics. Over one or more phone calls (or WhatsApp chats — whatever works for you), we'll talk through:

What We'll Discuss

Table type (river, cricket, custom concept, office)
Dimensions — length, width, height, shape
Wood preference — walnut, sheesham, teak, mango, or others
Resin colour — blue, green, clear, black, custom mix
Design elements — patterns, embedded objects, themes
Finish type — glossy, matte, or semi-gloss
Leg style — wooden legs, metal legs, slab base
Budget range — so we can design within your comfort zone

Take your time here. There's no rush. If you need three calls to get the design right, that's three calls well spent. This is the stage where we avoid problems later. The more clarity here, the happier you'll be with the result.

Takes: 1–5 days (at your pace)
3
No Surprises

You Get a Detailed Quote

Once we're aligned on the design, we prepare a written quote. This isn't a vague "around ₹50,000" — it's a proper breakdown:

What the Quote Includes

Materials — wood type & slab cost, resin quantity, pigments
Labour & craftsmanship — the actual making of your table
Finishing — sanding, polishing, sealing, coating
Packaging — protective packing for safe transport

Delivery charges are quoted separately because they depend on your location. GST is applicable and clearly mentioned. You'll see every line item before you pay a single rupee.

Takes: 1–2 days to prepare
4
Making It Official

You Confirm & Pay Advance

Happy with the quote? You confirm the order and pay 50% as an advance. This is what kicks off production. We don't buy materials or start any work until this step is complete.

Payment can be made via UPI, bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS), or digital wallets. We'll send you a receipt and a summary of the agreed design so everything is documented.

This is the last easy exit point. After this, we start buying materials specific to your order. Cancellation terms apply from here — see our Refund Policy for details.

Where the Magic Happens

Hari Ram Builds Your Table

This is the part most people don't see but it's where the real work happens. Every step is done by hand.

The Build Process

Wood preparation — selecting the right slab, cutting to size, levelling, sanding rough edges
Mould building — creating a sealed frame to hold the resin during the pour
Resin mixing — measuring resin and hardener precisely, adding pigments for your chosen colour
The pour — carefully pouring resin onto the wood. For deep pours, this may be done in multiple layers over several days
Curing — resin needs time to harden completely. This can't be rushed — temperature and humidity affect the process
Demoulding — removing the table from its frame once fully cured
Sanding — progressive sanding from coarse to ultra-fine grit for a smooth finish
Finishing — final polish, UV-resistant coating, attaching legs or base

We share progress photos along the way. If you want to see the slab before we pour, the colour before it cures, or the table before we finish — just ask. It's your table.

Takes: 2–8 weeks depending on complexity

See Before It Ships

Final Photos & Balance Payment

Before we pack anything, we photograph the finished table and send you the images. This is your chance to see the final result before it leaves the workshop.

Happy? Great — you pay the remaining 50% balance. We then pack the table with full protective packaging and hand it to the logistics partner.

Not happy? If something doesn't match what was agreed, we'll discuss it and figure out the best path forward. We don't ship until you're satisfied.

It's Home

Delivery & Setup

Your table is packed, shipped, and delivered to your doorstep. You'll receive tracking details once dispatched.

When it arrives, inspect it within 48 hours. Check for transit damage, design accuracy, and surface quality. If everything's good — and it usually is — you're done. Enjoy your table.

If there's any issue, contact us immediately. We handle transit damage and craftsmanship defects as outlined in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.

Delivery: 2–14 days depending on location

The Materials We Work With

Solid Wood

We use real wood — walnut, sheesham, teak, mango wood, and others depending on availability and your preference. No plywood, no MDF, no composites. The wood grain is part of the character.

Epoxy Resin

Premium-grade casting epoxy that cures crystal clear and stays that way. UV-resistant so it won't yellow over time. Scratch-resistant surface that holds up to daily use.

Pigments & Additives

Metallic powders, mica pigments, translucent dyes, and glow-in-the-dark additives. These are what turn clear resin into deep blue oceans, emerald rivers, or golden lava flows.

Metal Legs & Hardware

Powder-coated steel or iron legs in black, gold, or custom finishes. Hairpin, T-frame, slab-style, or custom designs depending on the table and your preference.

Finishing Coats

UV-protective topcoat that seals the surface and adds the final sheen — high gloss, satin, or matte. Protects against minor scratches and moisture.

Embedded Elements

For themed tables — cricket stumps, stones, shells, dried flowers, LED strips, or other objects embedded within the resin. Always discussed and agreed upon before the pour.

Included With Every Table

GST Invoice

Proper tax invoice from GORA BROTHERS PVT LTD with full breakdown

Protective Packaging
